Our hydrotherapy pool is perfect for the luxury spa experience with powerful jets to help massage away aches, pains and relieves stress. Then relax in our thermal suite, which includes an aromatherapy steam room and sauna.
BENEFITS OF THE SPA POOL
The water temperature is normally maintained to a comfortable temperature, this has a sedentary effect on the nerve endings and promotes a feeling of relaxation. The warmth and feeling of weightlessness helps to relive tension or discomfort in the joints. The jets have the effect of an under water massage, which stimulates the blood supply, therefore resulting in the usual beneficial effects caused by an improvement in blood supply to the tissues.
Mobility can be improved with hydrotherapy because people are able to perform activities in the pool that they are unable to perform on dry land. Exercises against the resistance of water and dynamic exercises within the water can also improve muscle strength, balance and co-ordination.
Hydrotherapy can be used to speed up the recovery of patients that are unable to weight-bear or can only partially weight-bear following surgery or injury, by increasing range of movement and maintaining muscle strength.
In addition to the above, hydrotherapy can:

£26 which includes full use of the spa including Hydrotherapy Pool, Thermal Suite which has a Sauna, Steam, Ice Fountain and Relaxation Area. Also included is use of our gym, which requires a mini induction which is also included in the price. Complimentary use of robe, towels and slippers included.
SENIOR CITIZENS SPA PASS TUESDAY MORNINGS
£7.50 which includes full use of the spa only including Hydrotherapy Pool, Thermal Suite which has a Sauna, Steam, Ice Fountain and Relaxation area. Complimentary use of robe, towels and slippers included.
TWILIGHT SPA
£15 which includes full use of the spa including Hydrotherapy Pool, Thermal Suite which has a Sauna, Steam, Ice Fountain and Relxation Area. Twilight Spa is available Monday to Friday between 4pm - 9pm. Complimentary use of robe, towels and slippers included.
